BorderCrosSing progress report

I’ve been working with BorderCrosSing’s auditioned vocal ensemble Puentes and their director Ahmed Anzaldúa on a multi-year recording project that includes several of my longer choral works – the ones that are too extensive to be included comfortably in the usual choral concert format. We started in 2023 with A Tree Telling of Orpheus, now included on BorderCrosSing’s album Aquí te amo. Later, in 2023 and 2024, we recorded Elizabethan Garland and Epigams, Epitaphs. Earlier this year we put Cinco Poems de Bécquer in the can, and this coming January we will capture I Sing the Birth. We are looking to produce an album (whatever format that takes these days). It continues to be a wonderful collaboration!
