Program Note:
“We Are” was commissioned by the Singing City Choir of Philadelphia. As part of their 75th anniversary celebration, Singing City asked several composers (24 and counting) to contribute to an online songbook that can be utilized for community sings and other audience engagement events. “We Are” is a part of that first cohort, premiered May 23 and 30, 2023.
